The fortress gardens have free entry and are located near Piazza Cahen (easily reachable even for those arriving by funicular). Orvieto Underground requires paid entry, with scheduled group visits lasting approximately 1 hour. the booking office and starting point is in Piazza Duomo. The necropolis is located just outside the city and can also be reached on foot from the center following signs for Porta Vivaria.

Suggested routes to do independently for those who love nature, walking or cycling routes. The Anello della Rupe is freely accessible on foot from the historic centre, the best points to access it are from Porta Soliana (Fortezza Albornoz area) or from the path near the Campo della Fiera car park.
