Tour Overview
A grand guided city tour of approximately 5 hours (lunch included). It begins in Piazza Cahen with a visit to the Albornoz Fortress and continues with a visit to St. Patrick’s Well (comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended), a striking architectural masterpiece of the Renaissance era.
After visiting the well, the tour proceeds along the central street of Corso Cavour to the foot of the Torre del Moro. From here, continue to beautiful Piazza del Popolo, where the elegant Palazzo del Popolo is located. Next, reach Piazza Duomo for a visit to the Cathedral, the San Brizio Chapel, and cathedral underground tunnels.
After the visit, continue walking through charming city alleys to reach another important square, Piazza della Repubblica, where you can admire the Church of Sant’Andrea and the Palazzo Comunale.
From here, the route proceeds inside the ancient medieval quarter—characterized by tightly packed houses and noble palaces—to arrive at the Church of San Giovenale, the oldest in the city.
A brief pause to admire a stunning panorama, then continue past the ramparts of Porta Maggiore to reach the San Giovanni terrace. From here, resume the tour by visiting Orvieto’s other famous well along Via della Cava, an underground archaeological site member of the UNESCO Global Network of Water Museums.
At the end of the tour, enjoy a lunch with a typical menu in a traditional restaurant in the historic center.

Cancellation from 29 to 14 days before the day of the tour: penalty 30% of the total price.
Cancellation from 13 to 02 days before the day of the tour: penalty 60% of the total price.
Cancellation from 01 days or No Show: penalty to be paid equal to 100% of the total price.
