“Sala dei Quattrocento”
The Sala dei 400 is on the first floor of the building and holds about 330 people in rows with an elevated speaker’s area and is equipped with very modern technology for videoconferencing, a room for recording and simultaneous translation, and a control room. The ambience is charming with frescoes on the walls and a wooden ceiling with eaves that are marked with pointed arches.
The furnishing are sober and elegant while at the same time functional with parallel rows of comfortable designer chairs.
“Sala Expo”
The ideal complement to a convention event is the Sala Expo, on the ground floor, which also offers a direct access to the square. Elegant from an architectural point of view, with walls refinished in exposed tuff bricks and regular arches on the ceiling. The Sala Expo is excellent for setting up convivial meetings, buffets, receptions (up to 270 people standing and 180 seated) that accompany convention events. The Sala Expo, connected directly to the reception and equipped with a bar area, can also host exhibitions, fashion shows and concerts.
“Sala Etrusca”
The Sala Etrusca, in the underground floor, owes its name to the foundation of an Etruscan temple that was discovered during the restoration work in 90s, from which it is separated by a crystal wall. The presence of these remains, which provides a backdrop for convention events, adds yet more prestige to a hall that is already interesting for its modular structure. In fact, the hall is capable of accommodating up to 99 people in plenary sessions. It can be divided into 2 or 3 smaller independent rooms with sound-proof walls for parallel sessions. A videoconferencing system connects it to the Sala dei 400.
