The location of interest is that of the village of Prodo, about forty minutes from Orvieto.

It is located in a ravine by the clear waters of Fosso Campione, fast flowing for a long stretch that then ends directly in the waters of the Corbara lake below. Along the way you descend through a steep canyon furrowed by water and generating a striking alternation of sounds and colors, the crystal-clear pools where you can dive for a refreshing swim. There are several sports clubs that organize this descent that usually can be done from the winter months until spring and the end of June, as in the summer months the gorge can be low on water.

More information on excursions and activities: www.umbriaoutdoor.it

Transportation needed from Orvieto to the location (35′ approx.)

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Discovering the Pozzi della Piana cave

The Forello gorges are suggestive natural canyons generated by the flow of the Tiber river.
