A twelfth-century monastery that now houses a hotel, characterized by the majestic tower do-decagon stylistically similar to the one next to the church of Sant’Andrea.<\/p>\n

It is\u00a0locally known as “La Badia”<\/strong>, and its\u00a0presence in the area is underlined since the year 1055, however, the complex was modified several times over the years\u00a0for structure and purpose.<\/p>\n

It is felt that the abbey was built around an ancient church (San Silvestro), then in the Middle Ages and until 1221 was a Benedictine monastery.<\/p>\n
