San Giovenale is a Romanesque church whose walls are still partially covered in frescoes (from XII and XIII centuries). The church is located at an edge of the tufa cliff, in the medieval district of Orvieto.<\/p>\n

This historic downtown area is particularly striking and remains unchanged over time. The interior and the frescoes of the church are certainly one of the works of relevance to Orvieto, and worth a visit.
