After the descent off the rock of Orvieto, follow the road uphill towards Gabelletta and Tamburino.<\/p>\n<p>The road starts to rise near the cemetery and from there follow several switchbacks uphill to get to Villanova. This is the most challenging part of the route, but also the most scenic with the cliff of Orvieto behind you and a spectacular city view.<\/p>\n<p>After Villanova continue on long flat stretches until, you reach a junction of four roads.<\/p>\n<p>Take the second right to Bolsena, passing under the aqueduct bridge.
