In Orvieto center\u00a0there are several green areas and public gardens:<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Giardini Comunali<\/b>\u00a0are near Piazza Cahen is set within the walls of the medieval Fortezza Albornoz. From this garden you can enjoy a very nice view of the Paglia river valley. Inside this garden there is a small playground area for children.<\/p>\n

Viale della Confaloniera<\/b>\u00a0(Viale Carducci) is a large green area equipped with children’s playground and benches.<\/p>\n

Another outdoor green space in Orvieto is the garden of Via Postierla. T<\/b>his garden is directly connected with the walking path Anello della Rupe<\/strong>, a pleasant natural path all around the perimeter of the city, perfect place to stroll among nature and history.<\/p>\n

Outside the center of the city you will find other interesting outdoor spaces:<\/p>\n

This park is located near the train station of Orvieto, close to the large parking lot behind the station. It is a green area with a small pond (where you can fish), and has a circular path with a bridge linking to the area near Ciconia.<\/p>\n

For those who enjoy relaxing walks, from here you can also travel along the road that runs parallel to the Paglia River.\u00a0This park is a perfect place\u00a0for mountain biking, trekking and jogging.<\/p>\n

This area is easily connected with the city center by\u00a0the funicular. In a few minutes you can reach this area.
